JANUARY  
Bermuda International Race Weekend
: Every January the Bermuda International Race Weekend, a 3-day festival, begins with an invitational mile on Friday night, builds to a 10K on Saturday and ends with an awards ceremony after a marathon and a half marathon on Sunday. Information, visit www.bermudaraceweekend.com/schedule.htm

FEBRUARY
Bermuda International Love Festival: Bermuda will once again devote itself to love with the celebration of the Bermuda International Love Festival. Guests from all over the world are invited to “feel the love” on this paradise island while enjoying a weekend filled with romantic activities such as musical performances, dance lessons and couples massage classes. MAY
Heritage Month: May 1st kicks off a month of cultural and sporting events to commemorate Bermuda's heritage. The highlight of Heritage Month is Bermuda Day when the Bermuda Day Parade winds through the streets of the city of Hamilton. Information, www.bermudatourism.com

JUNE  
Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge 2009: June 11-15, 2009. The Tall Ships Fleet will race from Vigo, Spain to Halifax, Northern Ireland with a stop in Bermuda on June 11-15. The Tall Ships visit Hamilton Harbour to celebrate Bermuda’s 400th anniversary. Information:

OCTOBER
Bermuda Music Festival: October 2009. The annual Bermuda Music Festival is a celebration where visitors and Bermudians alike will experience a festival that blends the talents & sounds of internationally renowned performers, rising stars and local artists. PGA Grand Slam of Golf: October 19-21, 2009. The world’s top golfers compete in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, the season-ending showcase featuring golf’s premier foursome. Returning to Bermuda for its third time, the high-stakes tournament will be held at newly renovated Port Royal Golf Course. Information, www.PGA.com.

NOVEMBER
World Rugby Classic: November 8-14, 2009. One of the most popular events on the international sporting calendar, the Classic has achieved an enviable reputation for great rugby and social events— all in the superb setting of Bermuda. For more information, www.worldrugby.bm/

DECEMBER
Bermuda Christmas Boat Parade: December 12, 2009. The Bermuda Christmas Boat parade, a feature for over 10 years, is finale of Bermuda’s year-long celebration commemorating its 400-year history. The Boat Parade takes place on Saturday, December 12, starting at 6:30pm. Boats of all sizes decorated with brilliant festive lights will light up Hamilton Harbor.
