Length: 0.5 miles. Time: 10-15 minutes one way. Difficulty: 1.

Trailhead: This is one of the few trails that doesn't begin on Rt. 191. Instead, driving into the forest on Rt. 191, turn left and take Rt. 988 toward Sabana for about two miles. The trailhead will be on your left about a quarter mile past Puente Roto Bridge.

This out-of-the-way walk will take you to the Mameyes River and one of its natural pools, Las Damas. This clay and gravel trail is an easy hike.
