St. Lucia Sailing Charters

Most sailing charters operates from Marigot or Rodney Bay. Two- and 3-day catamaran sailing charters depart from Marigot, first going north to Pigeon Point and then south to Soufriere.

After snorkeling and sightseeing each day, people usually dine ashore in the evening, then return to sleep aboard their sailing yacht.

From Rodney Bay you can book single day charters or a full week of sailing the Windward Islands, stopping each night at various islands including St. Vincent, Curacao, Trinidad, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union Island and other islands in the Grenadines depending on choice.

Chartered sailing vessels come in a variety of sizes, either small enough to accommodate only 2 people or a large family. All sailboats come with a professional crew, insurance, fuel, water sports equipment and more.

Some things to keep in mind before booking a sailing charter:

--Sailing is like traveling in a motor home,
moving from place to place during the day, sending the nights in a different spot.

--Families with young children may find the space on board too limiting. Better to stay on land? And not a lot of entertainment for small ones.

--No sailing experience needed. That's all left up to the crew.

More information: Sail Oasis at Marigot Bay for day trips or BBC Yachting at Rodney Bay for day or week-long sails.
