New Developments Cap Maison, the island’s first luxury residence-style boutique property, opened in October 2008. The hotel has 50 rooms, 22 privately owned residences, villa suites, studio suites and rooms. Residences Around the Bay: The Landings St. Lucia, a five-star RockResort on Rodney Bay, last winter opened 62 suites, a RockResorts Spa, salon, fitness center, pool, water sports concession, four-acre private yacht harbor and Beach Club restaurant. Opening in four distinct phases, phase two will be complete this and will include additional suites, pools and hot tubs, a tennis court, the Grand Pavilion Restaurant, a deli and specialty shops. Located on Praslin Bay, the Le Paradis Beach, Golf & Marina Resort is an ultra-exclusive, multi-phased luxury residential resort that will feature the Westin Le Paradis St. Lucia Residences, a Greg Norman signature golf course, an internationally branded spa and various other luxury amenities. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company held a ground-breaking ceremony on December 11, 2007 for The Ritz-Carlton, St. Lucia and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Lucia.
