New Developments

Cap Maison, the island’s first luxury residence-style boutique property, opened in October 2008.  The hotel has 50 rooms, 22 privately owned residences, villa suites, studio suites and rooms.  Cap Maison is also home to Cliff at Cap, cliff-side restaurant led by Executive Chef Craig Jones: www.capmaison.com.

Residences Around the Bay:  The Landings St. Lucia, a five-star RockResort  on Rodney Bay, last winter opened 62 suites, a RockResorts Spa, salon, fitness center, pool, water sports concession, four-acre private yacht harbor and Beach Club restaurant.  Opening in four distinct phases, phase two will be complete this and will include additional suites, pools and hot tubs, a tennis court, the Grand Pavilion Restaurant, a deli and specialty shops.  Phases three and four are scheduled to open in 2009 and 2010:  www.rockresorts.com.

Situated on four acres across Bonaire  Bay, Calabash Cove Resort & Spa is a  five-star boutique hotel comprised of  Water’s Edge Cottages and Manor House Suites with ocean views.  The resort has a 100-foot freshwater pool, full-service spa, gym, restaurant, bar and resort shop.  Calabash Cover Resort & Spa opened in November 2008:  www.calabashcove.com. 

Located on Praslin  Bay, the Le Paradis Beach, Golf & Marina Resort  is an ultra-exclusive, multi-phased luxury residential resort that will feature the Westin Le Paradis St. Lucia Residences, a Greg Norman signature golf course, an internationally branded spa and various other luxury amenities.  Phase one of the project is slated to open in July 2009:  www.leparadisstlucia.com.

 The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company held a ground-breaking ceremony on December 11, 2007 for The Ritz-Carlton, St. Lucia and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Lucia.  Situated on Half Moon Bay, the project is expected to open in 2010/2011:  www.ritzcarlton.com.

 The Tides  Sugar Beach  Resort:  In early summer 2009, Kor Hotel Group will transform Jalousie Plantation to the island’s first Tides resort with an extensive $100 million renovation: www.thetidesresorts.com.
