Tobago International Cycling Classic


This 4-day event, often spaning from the end of September into the beginning of October ,has attracted cyclists from such diverse places as Europe, South America, North America and the Caribbean.

The race program is broken into 3 divisions. The main event, Division 1, is open to international pro, elite and national teams. The course, in 5 stages, and covers 372 miles. Entry is $40 per cyclist.

The open event, Division 2, is suitable for juniors, masters, juveniles, ladies and category 3, 4 and 5 cyclists. This course is 4 stages and spans 186 miles. Entry is $25 per athlete.

The recreational program, Division 3, is for non-competitive and casual cyclists. With just 3 stages, the course is 93 miles with a $20 entry fee. Other events include a rum punch boat tour and beach picnic, a daytime barbeque and a steelband beach “lime,” which meanings just hanging out or socializing.
