Bermuda Fishing Season
What Bites When

April to November is the prime big-game fishing season, though fish also run in the off season winter months.

April: Yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, wahoo and the occasional billfish

May: Warmer waters bring in more yellowfin tuna and wahoo. May also marks the start of the blue and white marlin season.

June, July and August: Peak season for blue and white marlin, yellowfin tuna  and wahoo. Also commonly caught these months are bonita, rainbow runner, barracuda, amberjack and sharks.

September, October and November: Billfish are plentiful, hard-fighting wahoo and yellowfin tuna are both active

Off-season (December to March) is the time for wahoo and tuna
