There is one acknowledged master at family friendly cruise vacations, and it's Disney Cruise Lines. Every aspect of a cruise is family friendly, one reason there is no casino. (However, alcoholic beverages are readily available for adult consumption.)

Of course, Disney's half a century of experience with its theme parks has given it a tremendous insight into what makes families happy.

And the company has its massive film and show library to draw upon for added entertainment, which it does generously.

Moreover, these ships were built with families in mind. Some cruise lines have been trying to renovate and make room for kids' game rooms and other activities and it shows.
