Smoking on a cruise ship, policies and restrictions

Smoking on a cruise is usually is allowed in designated areas on all ships. But the area can be so small and confining that the message is there--if you want to smoke, go outside, on deck. And not necessarily at the pool.

Smoking is not allowed in most cabins, in the main dining rooms and most public areas, such as the entertainment theaters. Some ships do not allow smoking on a verandah or stateroom balcony.
