Port Canaveral, FL, the closest port to Disney World, Universal and other Orlando theme parks, is becoming Florida's busiest cruise port with almost a dozen ships departing here every week.

Port Canaveral is located about an hour's drive east of the city of Orlando, 45 miles from Orlando International Airport, 2 hours from Tampa and 2.5 hours from Jacksonville. The Kennedy Space Center also is located nearby.
