Eden Bay Naturist Resort

Located on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic near Playa Grande, Eden Bay is an atypical nudist resort for the Caribbean.

The all-inclusive, for adults 18 and up, features a world class Robert Trent Jones golf course as one of its main attractions.

And its accommodations come in a large variety.

The resort's hotel rooms, studio and one bedroom apartments are located above the beach in a 3-story building.

The more expensive villas start on the beach level and rise to the upper level.  All have oceanfront views and balcony or terrace.

Unlike the anything goes atmosphere of Jamaica, this is not a place for swingers. Eden Bay frowns on openly sexual and promiscuous conduct.

Besides golf, activities include kayaking, scuba, tennis and sand volleyball, all in the nude. Some, like scuba, are extra charge.

Guests who are still warming up to the idea of doing everything in the buff can claim a "clothes optional" status until they're comfortable.

Eden Bay is located in one of the more remote but striking areas of the Dominican Republic. Puerto Plata is the closest international airport;the US$40 transfer fee is included in the room rates.
