The pot-holed dirt road out of Las Terrenas leads to the mile-long Playa Bonita immediately west of Las Terrenas. The road parallels Playa Bonita beach most of the way, yet I see amazingly few
people along this spectacular stretch of sand. I stop my auto several times to walk out onto the warm sands, thinking that
perhaps the thick palms are obscuring my view of people enjoying the area. Except for a few dozen sunbathers, the sand is deserted for hundreds of yards
in both directions. There just aren't that many people at Playa Bonito To Samana Beaches Home
