ARAWAK WINGS

 

The Arawaks were among the last inhabitants of the Caribbean

 

before the European invasion. They were supposed to be a gentle people, who were unlikely to have ever eaten chicken wings.

But their name alliterates nicely in this recipe, which might a good snack or appetizer.

 

4 chicken wings

2 oz. Durkee's Hot Sauce

flour & oil for cooking

dash of salt, Accent and black pepper for seasoning

 

Place chicken wings and hot sauce and seasonings in a plastic bag. Let sit for one day. Then dip in flour and fry golden brown. Serve with cheese dressing and 2 sticks of celery.
